Natalie Smith-Gray

Natalie Smith-Gray is a graduate student in Dr. John McCloy’s group at Washington State University studying the compositional effects of anionic components in nuclear waste glass on structure and properties. She received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at Walla Walla University. Natalie spent a year as a volunteer English teacher in Pucallpa Peru where she found a passion for teaching and aspire to be an engineering professor in the future. Her hobbies include any outdoor activities including mountaineering, hiking, and rock climbing. She is also a pilot and enjoy flying single engine airplanes.
