Megan Hoover
Clemson University

Megan Hoover is a 2nd year graduate student at Clemson University in the Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences department. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Master of Science in Physics with a focus on Theoretical Condensed Matter. Her current research focuses on the alteration behavior of uranium dioxide using computational modeling to aid in understanding the long-term effects of spent nuclear fuel. Megan enjoys to go hiking and explore the small towns of North and South Carolina with her husband and take care of her two dogs and three hens.
