Andrew Conant

Andrew Conant graduated with his B.S. in 2014 and M.S. in 2015 in Nuclear Engineering. Andrew is currently a Ph.D. student in the same field at the Georgia Institute of Technology under the Nuclear Nonproliferation International Safeguards (NNIS) Fellowship. His research interests involve reactor physics, nuclear forensics, uncertainty quantification, and safeguards and nonproliferation. His current research focuses on uncertainty quantification of isotopic compositions and reaction rates in nuclear reactors for antineutrino safeguards applications. He has served as President of the Georgia Tech Student Section of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) for two years and currently serves a committee member of the ANS Student Sections Committee. He has also participated in internships at LLNL and ORNL in the areas of nuclear forensics and safety.
