Rabab Elzohery
Kansas State University

Rabab Elzohery is from Egypt. He has his undergraduate and master’s degrees in nuclear engineering from Alexandria University in Egypt. After graduation, he worked in the Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority as a researcher where his main research focus was nuclear reactor safety.

In 2016, he joined the Ph.D. program at Kansas State University. He is working in CORPS group under the supervision of Professor Jeremy Roberts. The group research focus is computational and optimization of reactor physics simulation which matches perfectly his area of interest since it combines two areas he is interested in, which are scientific computing and nuclear reactor physics. In particular, he is interested in reactor core modeling and simulation analysis and methods development in the area of reactor physics.

His current work aims to evaluate and analyze data based on steady-state and transient experiments conducted at the University of Wisconsin. The evaluated data is proposed to be included in the handbook of evaluated, reactor physics benchmark experiments.
